Spalted Maple

​It is sometimes quite difficult to find good spalted maple so Jim laminates the wood for these chargers to concentrate the black lines and increase the complexity of the pieces.  Even with this technique he is only able to make a few pieces each year.

Size is approximately 13 1/2" in diameter x 1 1/4" deep.
